The small town of Oxford, Iowa, is about 6 miles northwest of our house. It’s mainly residential but has a great coffeehouse and bakery (Deja Brew) and two cool antique shops. If you want to grab lunch or dinner, your best bet is Tiffin, to the east. We like Jon’s Ice Cream and Casa Tequila.

Walk around Kent Park, of course! Beauty abounds. There’s a lake and lots of trails for wandering, jogging, biking, dog-walking, etc.
Stop by Rapid Creek Ranch for pastured beef, chicken, and eggs.
