Offerings

Have your family, newborn, or high school senior photo session on our farm! We’ve got oak savanna, blueberry bushes, rolling hills, llamas, chickens, and a picturesque old barn. We can even match you up with one of our favorite local photographers—or you can arrange your own.

You’re welcome to book a 1–3 hour slot any time of the year. The blueberry bushes blossom in May, with delicate white flowers; they fruit in June and July; and they turn blazing red in the fall.

Price: $30 per hour. Photographer fees not included.

We supply the headlamps, and you pick the berries under a wide-open night sky in the Iowa countryside.

Night picking begins at sunset. That’s 8:45 p.m. during blueberry season. You’re welcome to make the experience your own by bringing snacks, a playlist (broadcast it to our wireless speakers!), a bottle of wine, etc.

Price: $40 per group (max 10 people) for 2 hours, plus cost of blueberries picked. Must finish by 11 p.m.

A guest cabin is coming! The photo to the left is just a placeholder… Ours will be colorful, larger, and have a lot more windows. It’ll be on the west side of our property, with views of a gorgeous pond, rolling hills, the blueberry field, and LLAMAS. (Ever look out a window and see a sweet, funny llama nibbling grass 10 feet away? Well, now you can!)

The cabin will have a sleeping loft with a queen-sized bed, a camping sink and toilet, desk, couch, and solar shower (for use during summer only). Guys, this is going to be very cool. Can’t wait till it arrives. We’ll email and post when it’s ready for guests.

OK, it’s not much of a store YET, but we’ve got some terrific blueberry stickers, onesies for the littlest blueberry fans, ceramic blueberry magnets, greeting cards, and eggs fresh from our chickens. Oh, and….ICE CREAM!

This one doesn’t include blueberry picking, but it does include you, your best friend(s), and a bottle of chilled Bluet wild blueberry sparkling wine ($20 retail). Bring a picnic and eat on a blanket, at a picnic table, or in the barn with the Christmas lights on and the door wide open. (We’ve sampled many blueberry wines and even tried to make our own—and Prosecco-style Bluet beats them all. It’s light, on the dry side, and the blueberry flavor comes through without unnecessary sweetness.)

Price: $40 for 2 hours (max. 10 people). Includes 1 bottle of Bluet, but you can purchase additional bottles for $20 each.
