Every spring, we order 2-year-old, potted highbush blueberry plants from our Michigan nursery for our customers. Each variety we sell is self-fertile, so you don’t need more than one variety (or more than one plant)—and all will produce delicious, plump berries, with the right care and planting conditions. Please note that highbush blueberry plants need full sun placement to produce a decent yield.

- Price: $20 each (includes 1.6 oz. packet of iron sulfate* and detailed planting and care instructions)
- Pickup: early May (we’ll be in touch)
*Blueberries require acidic soil, so you’ll most likely need to amend the soil in your planting site(s). You can do this in a variety of ways, but a quick, easy way is to apply iron sulfate. Each plant comes with a 1.6 oz. packet—enough to lower the soil pH in each of your planting areas by 1 unit over 3 to 15 days. The planting instructions you’ll receive when you order provide more instructions for amending soil with iron sulfate.
