SPRING/SUMMER 2025 UPDATE: PLANTS ARE SOLD OUT!
Every spring, we order 2-year-old, potted highbush blueberry plants from our Michigan nursery for our customers. This year (2025), we’re offering Nelson, Spartan, and Bluecrop varieties. Each variety is self-fertile, so you don’t need more than one variety (or more than one plant)—and all will produce delicious, plump berries, with the right care and planting conditions.

- Two years old, nursery-raised
- Individually potted
- Certified disease-free
- Needs full sun placement to produce a decent yield
- Each plant comes with a 1.6 oz. packet of iron sulfate, and each order comes with our own detailed planting and care instructions (and of course, we’re here to help if you have questions!)
As you may know, blueberries require acidic soil, so you’ll most likely need to amend the soil in your planting site(s). You can do this in a variety of ways, but a quick, easy way is to apply iron sulfate. Each plant comes with a 1.6 oz. packet—enough to lower the soil pH in each of your planting areas by 1 unit over 3 to 15 days. The planting instructions you’ll receive when you order provide more instructions for amending soil with iron sulfate.
